Speaking of drinking beer for breakfast: “Sequestered in Memphis” from the upcoming Hold Steady album “Stay Positive.” I’ve read a bunch of complaints that the whole thing sounds too much like Boys and Girls in America, but I’ve also permanently damaged my brain by listening to Boys and Girls in America twice a day for the past year, so I’m kind of excited to hear a new variation on the theme.
